Ogden-ÌÀÍ·Ìõ (OTECH) is in the process of constructing the first new building on campus in fifteen years. The college has grown substantially, with a 35% increase in new enrollments in the last year alone. Current buildings don’t have the capacity to keep up with the increased demand, and many programs have waiting lists. In 2024, the Utah State Legislature approved funding for a new building on campus that will allow us to serve 2,000 more students a year. This building will provide instructional space for high-wage, high-demand programs, consolidated student services, and space to expand existing partnerships with universities and school districts.
The OTECH Foundation is raising additional funds to make sure the new building will meet the needs of students for decades to come. We are grateful to Wasatch Peaks Credit Union for their two-million-dollar investment in the project, which will be named the Wasatch Peaks Pathway Building in honor of their support. Other areas in the building will be named for the Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation, George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, L.T. and J.T. Dee Charitable Foundation, and other generous donors.
